As I understand it the ban in France seems to specifically target real brands. So you can still show people drinking but you’re not allowed to show the logo of e.g. Heineken.

Yes, alcoholism isn’t real and if it were we shouldn’t make it easier for people who try to quit.
I’d also think it would be better to create rules and regulations that are as clear cut as possible and almost impossible to circumvent.
Go after billboards first. I can turn off the TV and avoid websites that have too many ads. I should be able to ignore advertisements in the public space. Clear size limits, don’t allow structures that will only be used for this specific purpose, etc.

Even though it might not be that important, I just wanted to say that I was wrong and that the first “Long Dark” is not finished. A DLC came out on the 2nd of December, but it’s not the last Episode of the Wintermute campaign. Just found out after starting the game again to finish it.
We aren’t saying too much more about BLACKFROST at this point, as we are focused on completing our obligations around THE LONG DARK 1.
