Did you click on the Reuters article you’re talking about?

Russia says Ukraine postpones prisoner exchange, accepting bodies

Ukraine has unexpectedly postponed exchanging prisoners of war and accepting the bodies of killed soldiers for an indefinite period, Kremlin aide Vladimir Medinsky said on Saturday.

It’s the Kremlin aide that they’re calling the propaganda.

        Reuters just quoted the Kremlin.

The exchange was agreed upon by both sides at the Istanbul negotiations. Russia showed up at the designated location, and Ukraine didn’t. The media was there to document it. Pretty cut and dry.

That’s a conversation you might want to have with the original commenter.

If you follow up the comment chain I was trying to help clarify their comment for the thread because I think OP is criticizing what Russia said and not Reuters as a source, yet the latter is being focused on in this thread.

That’s fair to be confused! Every “side” is telling you to read their sources and dismiss everyone else’s but the list changes depending on who you talk to.

I would say to start, probably don’t arbitrarily dismiss sources. I dont think thats worthwhile advice not to hear people out.

If a lot of people are trying to keep you from looking at something, I would say it’s probably important to go get the real story for yourself instead of vibing it out from a billion different opinions.

Instead, move closer to the source. In that case, like in this Reuters article, Reuters can be removed from the story.

We could go direct to the transcription of Medinsky’s full statement.

Try to read what others are saying and really try to hear them for what they’re actually meaning to say.

The Lib-Brain melts as the news his eyes, ears, and body the party told him to ignore now functions as it should. Keep ignoring your eyes and ears…citizen.

Also, of course not. How could so many of your slavi ukraini Ukrainian super-space-marines lose so many? Impossible. The Zelensky protects. Unironically feels like I’m talking to an Imperial citizen when Ukraine comes up for fucking liberals.

It is amazing indeed, as we carry the burden of being right again and again. Care to show us where we’re wrong?

Oh wait, you’ll just retreat back to where we’re blocked from commenting or interacting with. Remember that we’re the ones that get stifled. Back to brunch, libshit.

Ukraine refused to accept 6,000 bodies of dead soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine without explanation, Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk said.

Having been initially elected an independent candidate supported by Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Servant of the People, [Rada] joined the party shortly thereafter, before defecting to Smart Politics in 2021 and later Restoration of Ukraine in 2022. Critics have labelled Dmytruk as pro-Russian, which he has denied, pointing in particular to his organisation of a territorial defence unit following the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, which he has condemned.
