My boyfriend’s nephew said after family dinner to the dog: I will miss you most of everyone here. Love kids telling the truth :)

Rationaly I know but sometime it just hits hard. Thanks for being such a nice person!
I’m so sorry for your loss. Ours was also our baby even though I only met him when he was already 3 years old. It felt like I had to protect him and couldn’t because he had cancer :-( we and he fought so hard and in the end we had to euthanize him, but it felt like we betrayed him. I would love to hear from your kitty if you want to tell something about her!
I started crying thinking of our cat who died 4 month ago. I also wish everybody would get to know him, he was the best cat ever for us. So many stories untold… My condolences and I hope we’ll all heal after this heartbreak.
I don’t have that time in the morning, every minute I can sleep counts.
My boyfriend has red the books and loved them. I’m not into sci fi usually but love the series so far and plan on reading the books in the future. Haven’t been so excited about new episodes coming out in a long time.
I don’t like comics usually but I swallowed that. Such a good read and so traumatizing! I think everybody should read that, it feels so real and I cried and was shocked so many times. Hardly anything before made me feel all the pain with them and I wish the best to everyone who has had to go through that.
I get that, am european and also have a weird hatred against fans and ACs. My boyfriend loves them though so we also try to do halfway in his direction.
We’ve just been on the french north coast last week (from Austria) and I was also positively surprised. Everybody was really nice and spoke English very well. I’m still traumatized by 4 years of french in school because whenever I said something I was scolded that the pronunciation is wrong. Unfortunately that made me hate the french language, but french people made me more confident now and maybe I can set my peace with french now.
I just red that as in lick your neighbors finger and thought yeah that sounds about right ;-)
Not on topic, just wanted to tell you that was one of the nicest conservations I’ve red online. Good on you for being so understanding and cute.
And coming from a country with universal healthcare it should totally be a human right everywhere. I hope one day the working class in the USA will win!
The fact that the girlfriend doesn’t want to tell her family is kind of a hint that they won’t be happy about the relationship. So being upset is kind of the best outcome in this situation.
It’s nice that you and also I have met nice muslims who encouraged their kids do love whoever they want. In this specific scenario I would trust the girlfriend though, because she knows her family better than us.
So I can totally see myself and especially my boyfriend doing that in a couple of years. (Our cat died this year) Sweetly he and a friend connected over death because a friends mum died a coupe of years ago. I was like oh my god you can’t compare that, but our friend really opened up about his mum after we told him how heartbroken we’re after our cat’s death.
I wish I was like that, but doesn’t work for me. I always think bad thoughts :-(
If somebody would do that do me I would very likely not show up after the third round because I would think they’re crazy. (Am in Austria though so results might differ) But seriously after a second interview I would feel like they are trolling me and chances of me not showing up would be high… Is that really normal in the USA?
I just saw a video that Israel did a lot of propoaganda/ads in social media to get people to vote for them. Got no proof though. Still there have to be people who voted for Israel and I got no idea who would do that… Like the song wasn’t even great.
Ok, that’s understandable! Thanks for the explanation.
So I’m not from the USA and have heard the argument that she’s suspicious because she’s out of district a couple of times. So why is that bad? (I have no clue about american politics so I hope the question isn’t dumb)
So as a doctor working in an intensive care unit, we even know we’re the baddies sometimes. We’ve had people quit over that. Pretty hard to fight the system and take people off of live support. I’m in Austria and the laws are pretty different here. Best thing we can do if we think a patient isn’t benefiting from more life prolonging interventions is to do an “ethic council”. There a bunch of different doctors who don’t work at the same unit and a lawyer get together and decide what to do. Still we had some people rotting to death in our unit. Also people on life support where we knew we could never get them out of intensive care and just prolonging their suffering. In the end some kind of infection will take them. But we’re just prolonging their suffering and their families suffering who are trusting us. Horrible situation all around. And the thing is we do that because the surgeon in charge doesn’t want them to die because then the surgery will be considered failed In statistics. So we keep them alive for 30 days… I’m still in training so can’t really change the system just make people as comfortable as possible with painmedication and sedation until they’re allowed to die. (Usually after 30 days so the surgery is seen as successful)
It doesn’t show that for me, but now I know of Bamischijf. That sounds good but so weird. Has anybody tried that?
