I miss being there 😔 Came back to the states cuz I missed family and was guilt tripped, and even before rapist convicted felon got to power I was longing to return.

The sentiment is only growing stronger to return to a place that makes sense and feels right. Japan is by no means a perfect place/country (they got bad people who do bad things there) but there was a lotta good that I witnessed just like this every day. Heavy sigh.

My time abroad has taught me that YYYY/MM/DD is the way to format dates.

I haven’t had a friend tell me this, but I have definitely had those “d’oh!!” moments of sudden realization like clarity Clarence, where I think back to things I’ve said or done and how they were likely construed as by the other party and all I can feel is embarrassment. But it has helped me catch myself whenever I’m about to repeat these kinds of mistakes.

My brain has a conniption whenever I try to see how women could vote against other accomplished successful women, their own interests, and instead for a misogynistic ugly orange rapist. Like I’m done trying to understand the stupidity. 🙄

Maybe we will get lucky and he’ll invite musk and other billionaire backers into the plane for its first official flight, at which point Boeing plane does what it does best coupled with a crippled FAA… one can dream.
