Yeah, I don’t see AI replacing any developers working on an existing, moderately complex codebase. It can help speed up some tasks, but it’s far from being able to take a requirement and turn it into code that edits the right places and doesn’t break everything.

A judge released some grand jury files from the Epstein case recently, which brought new scrutiny on all the files from different related investigations. Trump is mentioned in many of them and some flight records show he flew on Epstein’s plane several times. Apparently nothing that’s conclusively incriminating.

It’s exacerbated by the right-wing having a propaganda machine too. Democrats can communicate their wins (ineffectively as they do) but they don’t make headlines like the outrage bait Fox airs. Bullshit asymmetry principle and all that.
