The woman on the left, Holly Fisher, had an affair after entering politics after taking this picture and faded in to meme land.

The woman on the right, Reem Slaleh Raiyshi, died carrying out suicide bombing at Erez Crossing.

I get the point you’re trying to make here but these two women are not the same. One’s a freedom fighter/terrorist who was obviously ready to die for what she believed in, and the other is some dumb bitch from West Virginia virtue signaling for clout.

  • Still, going from a stream powered spinning toy to locomotive is a few orders of magnitude. Heron’s “engine” was a little jet engine. Heated water pushed it’s way out of pipes. It’s a far cry from building steam pressure in a tank, using that pressure to drive a crank shaft, and pushing along a vehicle of any kind.

There are a number of industrial era inventions required before you can even start putting something like a train together.

The Romans didn’t even have replaceable parts yet. Every nail was custom made.

If you haven’t seen it, watch Clickspring’s series on the antikithra mechanism. It’ll give you an idea of how hard it was to produce complicated machinery was at the time.

  • Similar experience in Dyson sphere program. By the time you’re advanced enough to build a Dyson sphere, you’ve likely paved over the oceans and destroyed all the trees. The resources of the planet are completely tapped dry and you’re bringing in raw materials from all over the galaxy to continue building the Dyson sphere, and killing the local inhabitants of most systems to do it.

  • It sounds unbelievable because it’s just simply wrong.

Larger farms are more efficient. Each cow will always produce the same amount of manure, where you put the fence between them doesn’t really matter. If there’s 2 million cows in the state you get 2 million cows worth of manure to deal with, you can’t gerrymander that away.

Economies of scale apply to farms, but the waste they produce isn’t going to change much.

There are a lot of valid reasons to prefer small farms to large ones. The animals generally get better treatment on small farms, you get a better quality product from smaller farms. But the reality is the average age of farmers in this country is approaching retirement. Meaning a fair number of farmers are over that age. We don’t have the labor in this country to manage a lot of small farms, and that’s before we forcibly deported the people doing 90% of the labor.

Well yeah that stands to reason, our grammar structure is still Germanic, which is why they still call it a Germanic language. The 100 most common words are almost entirely basic grammar, like to, be, it, for, etc. Words used to reference other words.

The first non grammar based word, the first actual noun, is Time, which is a French word.

We are speaking French with German sentence structure and referencing everything in Latin.
