Will it asks for confirmation with a dialog (which would be nice) or will it behave like no password is needed?

Dev posted few weeks ago about donations being a little short and having lowered making it more difficult to support development. A lot of people then started to donate or increase their financial support.
Edit : for reference https://lemmy.ml/post/29579005
Nop, it’s french!
What helps me is to understand what commands acronym means. For instance cp for copy, mkdir for make directory, blkid for block id, ls for list (not too sure about actual meaning for s) and so on!
Nice tips about ctrl+r to search in command history. Was not aware it existed!
What do you mean? They are also free and if anything running lemmy cost them!?
Hope there will be a China version -> they did one for first book, before Netflix released their own. It was much longer (30 episodes) and in what I remembered from the book did a pretty good job adapting it. Netflix changed a lot of things and condensed it a lot. Reading the book you would ask yourself a lot why some thing happened, how it was possible and if it really was what you were hinted to think.
I guess this way you can also use it for manga or any other medium that sometimes use both page to display something.
It’s for fedora but maybe this link could help : https://fostips.com/hardware-acceleration-video-fedora/?amp=1
It did for me. I replaced mesa drivers for my amd card.
Best explanation was in Fargate tv shows.
When MC find himself to other side of galaxy in alien spaceships with prisoners escaping he is injected by a little icon robot with nanobot (or something like that) enabling him to understand any language.
Just before he is injected other characters are speaking alien and you don’t understand them and gradually (but in a matter of 15/30 secs) after injection you start to hear aliens speaking English. I believe they even specifically speak about the technology.
Look at Species of Farscape #8 – Translator Microbes it is explained better and there is a short video. Too bad you don’t see him injected/shot but you got alien explaining how it works.
I don’t have the answer, but if you are looking to do something like that you could simply do :
if coin in (25, 10, 5):
Or use a list but I think using a tuple is better as your values are fixed.
Raccoon is also nice.
Same reaction here… It shows that for mobile browser Mozilla is more serious about it. Maybe being installed by default and their hegemony on desktop make Google more complacent…
Swiping on icons or folders to open another app!
And do some comments / recap. I find annoying people just posting link without saying anything. IMHO lemmy is about people opinion not just sharing link.
If you want news links then rss reader, Google news, Flipboard or whatever are what should be used.
Not to say OP didn’t do a good work. But Lemmy is better when you are not ending just clicking link to read articles.
So a suggestion would be at minimal to add an AI recap as post comment.
Can’t you disable it in settings? On android there is an option to toggle off sponsored shortcuts.
I agree they shouldn’t force it on but at least with minimal effort and if it’s really annoying it’s easy to disable.
Streaming services should be required to provide free access where they are allowed to put ads at the beginning and only once or twice depending length and not cutting a scene. And maybe free access could be limited to a number of episodes.
Anyway my point is be real, some people won’t pay because they can’t or because you don’t want to subscribe to 10 streaming sites. Especially when sometimes there is only one anime, tv shows you are interested in. So real solutions should be found if companies really wants to fight piracy…
For Tv shows piracy has never been so low as when Netflix had reasonable price and was the only one. It offered a real alternative and people where willing to pay for it.
I also believe crunchyroll do a lot of good as it has a quasi monopoly but it’s starting to erode with Netflix and Disney starting to get animes. 😕
Agree. If it was a perfect world then governments would fund and contribute to open source project to make sure there are good free solution to keep your data private (at least from being collected and sold to some random companies) and make sure they won’t go down.
Sadly I don’t think it’s really happening…
IMHO you need to use adb to force install older version. Something like :
adb install -r -d myapp.apk
Look it up! It should be possible to use termux on phone and connect wirelessly to your own phone to access adb. Or you have to use another device to connect to your phone.
Of course simpler solution is being able to backup settings and data, uninstall then install older version and restore data.
