There was a big stinky turd in the litter box. It was hers. She’d just laid it. And while I was cleaning up that litter box she went and dropped another one in the OTHER litterbox because we have more than one cat so of course we have more than one freakin’ litterbox.

While she was yelling at me about the turd situation Cerys climbed up on the sun-drenched dining room table. The entire table is in front of a north facing window and is sun drenched. It is six feet long. They are two foot cats.

Cerys continues to exist. A cat she has co-habited with since 2012. A cat who literally came out of her. A cat who only exists because she decided to get railed on the hood of our old datsun. This is my fault.

I feel like Misha is perhaps the cat equivalent of a cranky chain-smoking nonna who is pissed off at the world (life is too hard and nobody understands), and at her son for still living off Centrelink (back in the 90s).

First day of freedom (for two weeks) and I played video games on a PC with a friend. Turns out cybersickness is a thing. I felt like throwing up. But besides that, it was kinda fun.
The anxiety hasn’t completely gone away because of failing, and just worrying about my future, but I think the more I do stuff, the more I will be in the present. Plus I need a good sleep.
Oh it’s real. There might be settings you can change but some games are much worse for it than others

Yeah the poster doesn’t say much about the story. I went because I saw good reviews on reddit.
I ordered some retro handhelds for the boys to get on Christmas shopping early. I got the R36s because I found it cheap and I’m pretty impressed.
Buttons feel good, it uses Emudeck on the frontend so everything looks nice, and they even shipped with Stardew Valley on the SD card. It boots up, takes a while to load but it boots up. I know one of my boys in particular is going to love this once they get them

YL dyed my hair. I think it’s gone nonna orange. I don’t wanna look under the towel yet. Gonna need more than a couple of beers tonight.
Some purple toner or shampoo might help? Also if it was bleached it might need another go to get the stubborn red tones
Oh dear. What did you use? Somethings you can go straight over the top of to correct, some need a bit of a break in between.
Now that it has dried it doesn’t look to bad. I’m used to seeing grey.
There are some hair dyes that are better for grey hairs, because they can pick up colour differently and turn a bright or unexpected colour

Before paying to have someone pick up my old fridge and freezer I decided to try Marketplace to give them away. It did not go well. Apparently “must be picked up ASAP today” is easily confused for “pick up maybe tomorrow” or “I’ll deliver to you tomorrow in Thomastown”.
