This has once again reminded me that I need to watch the original series.
After watching SNW A Quality of Mercy, I immediately watched Balance of Terror. Show runners did such a great job; the SNW episode is a wonderful homage to the original episode.
It’s comforting to know that romance survives into the 2200s.

I guess the timeline didn’t quite snap back to plumb after “A Quality of Mercy.”
