    Somewhat troubling, but far better than the deal Trump was initially trying to impose.

    Most of the minerals are in the temporarily occupied oblasts, so Trump should feel free to go get 'em!

    So does that mean that the US will drive Russia out of Ukraine?

    Because if it doesn’t, then why?

      Because Trump would likely get a better deal with Putin by letting Russia conquer Ukraine entirely?

      @phoenixz @LaFinlandia

      Certainly no. This agreement give to Trump a formal chance to deal with Putin and use Ukrainian’s minerals together (or mostly with Putin). There is not a word about driving Russia out from Ukraine in the agreement.

    The terms outlined by the independent seemed reasonable and fair. No critical points regarding security and the Zaporozhye Nuclear plant.

    The fuck good is rare earth minerals when china holds 98% of the processing capabilities, and were in a trade war with them. We can’t build the equipment to process them on our own either, because get this, trade war!
