Guys!! My other half won Powerball! He split the winnings with me and now I’m $10 richer. Drinks are on me!
I remember when I was about 10 years old, my mum gave me one of her scratchies and I won $20 bucks! I felt like a millionaire. I remember spending my winnings on a Monsters in my Pocket collectors set which had all the monsters in it. One of the best days of my life.
How cool is that?! $20 is a lot when you’re 10.

Hello, I am alive. Still. Heheheh
I am still trying to log in on my phone (jerboa app and chrome mobile browser), but I am not getting a reset password link. I also cannot reset my password on PC (where I am typing this from) without remembering my old password… which wouldn’t be necessary if I could remember my old password haha. I will keep trying, but if I am unable to reset my password so I can log in on my phone, I may set up a new, even more starchy, account.
Anyway, I am currently working from home, smashed out a busy day today, never once looked at my phone until after work, when I saw I was summoned by my good friend PeelerSheila :D <3
I will be available tonight on my PC :) I may need to work tomorrow, to help a colleague so I won’t be able to reply tomorrow (I need my monitors for work lol), but I am here now my fellow DTers, my favourite people. I truly love you all

Glorious! I love the way these flowers just dance in the breeze. Always looks choreographed to me.
Tonight I introduced the man to one of my favourite snacks. His beady little eyes lit up.
That is buttered simit, peanut butter and a cheese to cleanse the palate.
His words were “omg omg omg” (more than once) “I think you’re on to something” and “I need to buy some peanut butter to take to work”.
Well that looks effective
3 simits for $4. Ash cheese from aldi $4.50. Butter and peanut butter. A relatively cheap and full filling snack.

I just impulse bought a large bar fridge. It is red.

As I don’t drink beer that seems like it would be a bad selection for me to put in it.
You should store your tequila in there. Tequila is lovely when it’s chilled.
I always knew them as a beer fridge. I think someone came along and said “No. That’s too bogan. We’ll call it a bar fridge”. Hahaha.
I always think of a beer fridge as being the old fridge that was still running when you upgraded, so it got moved to the garage and used for beer. Whereas a bar fridge is a tiny little fridge you buy with the intention of storing beer in, then discover the shelves are all the wrong heights to store most drink bottles and you can’t fit enough in to manage even a small party, so you end up using the sink full of ice anyway. Although it was surprisingly acceptable as the only refrigeration I had when I first moved out of home.
Sooo a doordash driver either stole or forgot to deliver my drink and apparently doordash support is worse than basically anything else I’ve ever seen
“Please allow me a moment to transfer you to the correct department”

Edit: after several escalations (9 transfers!) Old mate Kimberly told me I’ll receive a refund of $11.50 in 5-7 business days, even though nothing in my order was $11.50 and that’s certainly more than a bottle of coke, then said ““have a nice day”” (she quoted have a nice day) and disconnected

🔗 NSW police considering ‘extraordinary’ powers to search pro-Palestine protesters
The fact this is being contemplated is an absolute disgrace.
The cops seem to regularly declare areas of potential trouble around Melbourne a stop-n-search area, eg, Moomba was one. How would this be different? What makes it a disgrace?
The right to protest should be protected. No matter what. The police want to call this particular protest “illegal”, and enacting these powers to search will have a chilling effect. The Human Rights Law Centre has condemned the NSW police minister and police for this.
The protest organisers are seeking to work with police on their concerns. Nobody should be subject to arbitrary search and compulsory identification simply for exercising their right to freely assemble.
“Designated areas” in Victoria should also be criticised, but teenagers don’t have a human right to carry a flick knife.
Also don’t understand why it’s a disgrace. Seems like a reasonable (potential) harm-reduction measure to me
Compulsory identification and warrantless search on all protestors is reasonable?
Why don’t we give that power to police 24/7?
