A foot patrol of the French unit operating within the UNIFIL reserve force came under fire from an Israeli army position while inspecting an earth barrier recently erected by Israeli forces in the Wadi Qatmoun area, on the outskirts of the Lebanese town of Rmeish, according to the National News Agency (NNA).

I don’t know how to break this to you, but genuine good guys don’t hold innocent people as hostages and unnecessarily risk innocent lives; freedom fighters protect who they fight for. Please help me change my mind, I’m being serious.

Which is exactly what Israel is doing.

Please help me change my mind, I’m being serious.

No. You clearly aren’t. Stop pretending you’re not a willfully blind Hasbarist.

For someone pleading ignorance, you sure as hell know a lot of pro-Israel talking points. Being misinformed and spreading misinformation is NOT the same thing as being uninformed.

Hasbara is Hebrew for “explanation” and also the colloquial term for pro-Israel apologia amongst Hasbarists.

Hasbarists are the people who spread those lies.

Looks like I’ve been basing my opinions on Hollywood action films, thinking good guys don’t take hostages.

I’ll ask again: how is that relevant to the fact that Israelis love blowing up hospitals and schools?

Isn’t there still a bunch of hostages being held in Gaza? I thought this is why they are attacking Hamas again after a cease fire agreement. This is why this is relevant.

How does Hamas holding hostages justify bombing hospitals and schools?

Also, the ceasefire was meant to be a hostage exchange. Israel gives up hostages in exchange for the hostages Hamas took. Israel decided it didn’t want to give up any more hostages and violated the ceasefire agreement.

They aren’t good guys, but Israel is literally evil when they murder innocents when there is no justifiable threat. I don’t know what indoctrination convinced you that tens of thousands of innocent civilians is a justifiable cost. None of this defendable.
