I’ve never blocked someone except bots, so I’m wondering what your reasons are to block people. In my experience trolls/people who argument in bad faith lost interest quickly when I didn’t respond.
Anyone who says North Korea is the best korea, denies tiannmen square, thinks russia is justified in taking ukraine, and has a lemmy.ml ueername is an instant block from me
most recently someone blocked me because I said there are multiple interpretations of the Dao De Jing and they shouldn’t shut someone down for finding their own path.
Lol some people have some really strange ideas about de Dao de Jing. It takes a lifetime of studying to understand, so clearly there are multiple layers and aspects to it. What’s absolutely hilarious to me is that people later decided it was a good idea to build a dogmatic religion around it 🤷🏻♀️

That’s okay, as of today blocking Lemmy users is not a paid service.
The only drawback involves arthritis or carpal tunnel issues.
