minus-squareN3Cr0linkfedilink5•1 year agoREISUB would sync all remaining disk operations and then restart the entire machine. You could try the old combo for restarting X: Ctrl+Alt+Backspace. I’m not sure though, whether it will work on your system.
minus-squareNéstor 🇵🇸linkfedilink3•1 year ago@n3cr0 @Max_P sysrq and ctrl-alt-backspace shouldn’t be configured on modern systems. If the machine is still responsive, ctrl+alt+f2 , login and restart the display manager should work
