Former President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he has received a letter informing him that he is a target of the Justice Department’s investigation into efforts to undo the results of the 2020 presidential election.
If it was the left assaulting congress and Biden attempting to coerce election officials the indictments would have been out within weeks of the enactment of martial law after Jan 6.
Well that is shitty. I am all for being cautious, but I want it to extend to non violent offenders and drug crimes as well. Just because The Donald is rich and white doesn’t mean he should get special treatment. Though of course it does.
100% agreed. As I understand it, the DOJ’s excuse was that they didn’t want to “look political” by investigating him. Literally a two tiered system when a person is treated with kid gloves because of political status.
Why did it take this long?
This is fast for a Federal investigation. Government moves slow but it does work.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, for the Orange One), DOJ drug their feet in regards to investigating Trump’s role in the Jan 6th insurrection. That definitely slowed things down.
