This is why I run Linux. I don’t like being coerced to do shit on my computer I bought to get work done. I don’t have a problem with the idea of Windows. I have a problem with the corporate practices of Microsoft, Apple, Adobe, etc etc. They interfere with my workflow. And they spy on me. It’s just not worth the hassle to run Windows.
