In the besieged Gaza Strip, hospitals are nearing collapse as doctors work under the most trying conditions. Medical supplies are dwindling and fuel is running out even as the death toll is mounting and hospitals are overflowing with more patients than they can handle.

    Ofc. Just weird to say “multiple” when it’s thousands over decades.

      @Serdan I get you now. “Being killed” is the present tense (specifically, the present continuous). I’m talking about the current round of hostilities.

      I use “multiple” because since it’s still unfolding we don’t yet have an estimate for how many are being killed.

          @Serdan ugh, I can imagine. This whole thing is so horrible. I hate how human rights abuses unfold and there’s nothing I can do except raise awareness, pester my representatives (in my small, non-influential country) and donate to MSF.
