So maybe if Iran didnt try to develop a-bombs then Israel would have no reason to attack.

You’re ignoring the most important detail. They did so while cooperating within the international community. That is, until the US decided to support, supply, and fund a war against them, thus making the development of nukes essential to their survival. (After ordering assassinations of their leaders and violating our own agreements with them.)
Oh did they cooperate? Why was there detection of weapon-able uranium then? Was that just an accident while trying to use nuclear power for good?

Donald prioritizes looking like a tough guy over successful diplomatic relations, at least against countries that can’t fight back.
