I can’t be 100% sure, but I figure there’s some situations that security isn’t willing to put their asses on the line to put a stop to. Even a dozen of them working to stop a pit once it started would be wild to see, but have seen it tried at smaller venues with 1-2 of them pulling individual people out.
Lots of venues say that but don’t do anything to stop it. I always figured it’s just legal ass-covering
