Anyone still clinging to the idea that fascism/authoritarianism is “on it’s way” rather that “it’s here right fucking now” is simply willfully ignorant, so much an asshole as to be entirely irredeemable, lying, not paying attention, or just fucking too stupid.

I have a pretty small social circle, but they are all very progressive, very against what is going on right now. Still, I am the only one planning to go to a No Kings protest. I’m the only one who went to the Hands Off protest. It’s not encouraging.
Use this as your “fascism has actually taken over” moment if you need one still. Its past time to get serious about our Democracy.
They’re immediately letting them go on scene, the more disturbing part of this is that they’re serving as security details for ICE Nazis.
