Uncomfortable truth: violence has solved some of the largest issues across the history of humanity.

Violence didn’t create war or genocide, those are a result of nationalism and racism, respectively. Violence is the means used to accomplish the goal, but the motivation is what does the creating.

To be clear I’m not pro-violence or something, but it is kinda funny to me when you hear “violence is the answer” and open a history book to see time and time again that violence is the answer for quite a few problems.

I’d prefer to not give Trump a reason to use the Insurrection Act.

They made up a reason to deploy marines in LA. They’ll make up a reason to do that too. Violence is inevitable at this point. Resist anyway.

The majority of the protest is non-violent. What is being shown in photos is isolated incidents.

I’m not pro-starting-the-shooting either but let’s be real, he will find an excuse to use it whether people fight back or not.

We can stop pretending he has any restraint we aren’t even six months in.

I’m not a magat. I just don’t want this to turn out exactly like Trump wants it to. He wants people to start shooting.

Keep acting like you’re gonna start shooting cops the first chance you get. We all know you’re not.

Tell me how every dictatorship has been overthrown. I’ll give you a hint: those that chastize calls for retaliation tend to be labeled “fascist sympathizers” by history.
