minus-square@bieren@lemmy.ziplinkfedilink5•10 days agoSnorkels do more for getting the intake above dust and dirty air than improving fording depth. The low hanging electronics in the engine are the biggest concern. I can put a snorkel on my truck, the fording depth does not change.

Snorkels do more for getting the intake above dust and dirty air than improving fording depth. The low hanging electronics in the engine are the biggest concern. I can put a snorkel on my truck, the fording depth does not change.
Just need to get a truck without electronics in the engine bay then!
