The Department of Homeland Security conducted raids on multiple locations across Los Angeles on Friday, clashing with the crowds of people who gathered to protest.
Masked agents were recorded pulling several people out of two LA-area Home Depot stores and the clothing manufacturer Ambient Apparel’s headquarters in LA’s Fashion District. Immigration advocates said the raids also included four other locations, including a doughnut shop.
the use of grenades is legal for ice, but not for the military and intentionally so, so that they can’t be prescuted for using them against american civilians.
I have no idea why you latched into grenades specifically, but that is not their only means of violence and they’re grabbing random people and not using due process.
the grenades are the clearest sign that they’re meant for this style of oppression since they’ve explicitly permitted to be used by the police, but not soldiers.
ICE started with a hit and run of a protestor on Friday.
Protesters began throwing rocks. ICE donned riot gear, protesters threw cinder block and M80s, ICE busted out tear gas, Trump deployed the National Guard.
