i mean you can still do this, my mom’s SO has multiple landline phones in their house, and i’m sure it’s not that difficult to convert an old landline phone to use modern standards with some adapters.
Just as a sidenote here, it really isn’t hard to use an old phone.
You just get an old phone and then there’s adapters with BT, so you just hook up the old phone to the adapter and hit pair on the BT to pair it with your phone and tadaa.
