I think Europe had their time. They are nodding knowingly and pitifully at America at how hard it will be to climb out of it.

          • In some cases, but rich people are usually right wing as it justifies their wealth. Consequently they are classists. And racism is just another type of classism.

In other words, Europe has their own rich monsters.

Russia is worse then the US is, but the US is working on it. Both are helping out likeminded European groups. Musk was turning up at German and British facist party events for a reason.

So what you’re saying is that the UK needs a repeat of Cable Street to drive home that fascism isn’t welcome and drive out wannabe-Mosley.

Would be an option. Another really good one would be a reform of the election system. It is insane that Labour got 2/3 of the seats in parliament with only 1/3 of the votes. Even worse with Reform polling at about 1/3 of the votes right now.

The crisis of the 30’s was a factor and now we’re in the same position.
Dramatically worsened by the results of ‘there will be no more Nordstream’.
Not a peep from our EU leaders, just more bootlicking, crippling sanctions on ourselves and buying wildly expensive and polluting US fracking gas.
And billions more of their murder toys OC, what else are our pension and social welfare funds for?

Kick US media out of your country, use opensource software and you’ll be better off.

Don’t be afraid to just take US intellectual property.

It was acquired through exploitative neoliberal and neocolonial policy. “AI” is actually the peak manifestation of this.

Also, China does it (though in some cases consensually) and its gone fairly well for them.

To be fair, its not like the West played by the rules during the colonial era so that’s understandable.

A number of US based companies have willingly given away IP in the past to access the market.
