No wonder most websites look terrible on desktop now and are designed for mobile.
If I had to guess, it’s because of countries like India recently gaining widespread internet access?
Everyone has one of two mobile devices and they can do what a laptop can do in terms of media consumption. Ten years ago we were a desktop orientated society, now it’s handheld. The laptop is a work device and the PC a niche device.
