Oh they still want the state. They just want the police for only enforcing their property and contact laws. The unjust laws are the ones that don’t favor them of course.

Yes I believe the general point I’m making is their politics are a mask for class warfare.

I don’t believe I said that no. Do you believe I’m some sort of strict Marxist out of the line of text I’ve provided? If you’d like to make a point or an argument, it would be best to make it

My point is that each strain of US libertarianism has it’s justifications derived from social conflict considerations masked as liberty. I’m not in the same class as fuedalistic tech bros and I’m not an ally of Lew Rockwell supporting White identy folks. There’s many types of libertarians but the overall ideological drivers are disingenuous self interest on deciding what parts of the state they want to keep. And that’s the key behind libertarianism, because despite all the belief of the natural rights to property it has always and inexorably been tied to state power. Any attempt to preserve that only comes from the desire to preserve power structures. Which ones to be preserved are dependent on class (or some other social construct) interest.

                • ideological drivers are disingenuous self interest on deciding what parts of the state they want to keep

Which parts of the state they want to keep that’s beneficial to them, but detrimental to you?

(Right Libertarians, ie. the “US” definition of libertarian)

Libertarian Socialists and Anarchists are usually as anti-capitalistic as they are anti-state.
