        Yes, the less armor you’re wearing, the more it shows how good of a warrior you are! It means you don’t get hit and taunt your enemies with it!

      A few fantasy series have spells that give fullbody shields (ex skyrim’s oakflesh) and personal shields are abundant in scifi. Skimpy armor would be perfectly reasonable for mobility purposes when you have technology that allows it.
