Covid and all the things surrounding it seem to have had a dramatic effect on my immune system. I never got sick or the cold but from 2021 onwards it seems that every little virus gets me. I have been sick on and off for the past few weeks.

A study in BMC Medicine found that even a mild case of Covid can disrupt your immune system for months. Another study in Cell found that the disruption can last for at least a year, maybe longer. Same here, was never seriously sick in about 5 years before covid, since late 2021 I am getting quite sick seemingly every 3-5 months.
I have the same problem comrade. Since I had covid once, I seem to get sicker a lot faster and from smaller stuff - stuff that I did not get sick from before. It’s never actually very bad but bad enough to feel shit for a day or two.
I hate it.

Me too. Now, I’ve not knowingly had Covid. But I’ve been badly ill three times since November and I feel like I’m coming down with something else. It’s like three weeks on, two weeks off. Hope it ends soon. And I hope you’re managing to rest properly. Take care!
You too. I saw the news yesterday and it said that some trees are blossoming already thanks to an abnormally warm winter over here, so it could even be hay fever lol. Climate change, global pandemics, war, who knows what will end us eventually.

I seem to be lacking the motivation to do party work lately. I don’t know if it’s because of the things the party asks us to do or because of personal issues.

I’m kidding. It’s mostly campaignjng stuff for upcoming elections. It’s not too bad but I’m busy with work so I don’t have the energy for it. Plus our action group is kind of quiet lately so I don’t have that much interaction with other members, and that has a negative effect on my motivation.
I understand. It’s also not the most sexy stuff to do (although necessary) nd the weather is crap. I told then to contact me when I moved back to where I live now but I haven’t heard anything yet and I’m not motivated to reach out myself. I did reach out to Gauche Anti-capitalist. Lef’s see where that goes.
