I love doing this. Story time: my dad didn’t curse when I was growing up, so when he did it was hilarious. I still remember him coming in my room, looking around, and saying “Boy, this room looks like damnit!” It has stuck with me and I still use it incorrectly all the time.
I was at church camp, hanging out with someone who I thought was my cool new friend at the time. So I was comfortable swearing around him (for the first time in my life.) Some other younger kids were around and annoying us, so I tried on a new phrase “Shut up your shit!” One of the adults heard me and said something about not wanting to hear that kind of language again. I was ashamed until today. I feel better about it now for some reason.
I don’t know why, but this made me chuckle!

I think it’s actually this instance that filtered it, because I have used profanity quite often on my instance. Or perhaps it’s the specific word I used. What I typed is what the Indian convenience store clerk yells at Will Smith and Martin Lawrence when he pulls a gun on them in the Bad Boys movie.
Not having seen the movie for a couple decades, I’m just going to guess: “Mother Mary”? 😛
